Still sending quotes like this?

You do the work. We make you look professional.

Before a customer hires you, your quote is one of the few things they see. A text with a number in it says “bloke with a van”. A proper quote says “business that’s done this before” — and that’s what makes a £2,000 job comfortable to say yes to.

Before — what they usually get

£1850 to skim and paint the living room. Cheers, Dave 👍17:42
Thanks Dave, will have a think and get back to you17:58

No breakdown, no terms, no way to say yes. “Have a think” usually means they’re getting two more numbers.

How it works

Price → Quote → Send → Accept → Invoice

Five steps. No stage manager, no scheduling module, no course to sit through first.

  1. 1

    Price

Add a labour or materials line and it's priced before you've finished typing — a suggested rate for your trade and region is already sat in the box.

  2. 2

    Quote

Your letterhead, their job address, a clear total. It looks like a quote from a business that's been going ten years, not one you started this morning.

  3. 3

    Send

One tap opens WhatsApp with the message already written. Or email it, or copy the link — whatever they'll actually see.

  4. 4

    Accept

They open the link on their phone, read it, type their name and tap Accept. No account, no app to download, no faff.

  5. 5

    Invoice

Accepted quote becomes an invoice in one tap — full amount or a deposit. The figure's frozen, so it never drifts from what they agreed to.

Why it’s different

Everything a quote needs. Nothing a suite doesn’t.

Suggested rates, 22 trades

Hourly, day and callout rates for your trade, adjusted for your region — a sensible starting point, never a lecture.

VAT that's actually right

Standard, reduced, zero-rated or exempt, worked out per line. Not VAT registered? The word “VAT” never appears.

Never lose a quote

No Save button because there's nothing to forget — every keystroke autosaves, even if the signal drops.

Your brand, not ours

Your business name, logo, colour and bank details. Quotes4You's own branding never appears on anything your customer sees.

Built for the van, not the desk

Big buttons, numeric keyboards, one-handed. It was designed to be used standing up between jobs.

Repeat quotes in under 90 seconds

Customers and materials autocomplete from what you've quoted before, so the second job is faster than the first.

Send it where they’ll see it

One tap. Straight to WhatsApp.

No customer app, no login link buried in an inbox they check once a week. The message is already written — job, total, private link — you just hit send.

  • A private, unguessable link — nothing public, nothing to search for
  • Or email it, or just copy the link into any app you like
  • You’ll know the moment they’ve opened it

Hi Tom, here’s your quote from AW Electrical Ltd for EV charger installation — £390.00. View and accept online:

The document

A quote that looks like you’ve done this before.

A4-ready, print-perfect, and built to letterhead standard — logo, business details, a scope of work, clear VAT, a total that can’t be missed. No app screenshots. No Quotes4You branding. Just your business.

  • Assumptions, exclusions and your terms & conditions included
  • Handles one-page jobs and 30-line renovations equally well
  • Costs and markup never appear — only what the customer agreed to pay

Getting paid

Accepted quote. One tap. Invoice sent.

Full amount or a deposit — percentage or a fixed figure. The price they agreed is the price on the invoice, even if your rates change next month.

Is it worth £9.99 a month?

  • Less than an hour's labour

£9.99 a month is less than one hour at the suggested rate for any trade, in any region. You'll spend longer than that writing quotes by hand.

  • One job covers three years

If a better-looking quote wins you a single extra £500 job, that's more than three years of Quotes4You paid for — VAT included.

  • You're already writing the number down

The price is the same either way. The only thing that changes is whether it arrives looking like a text or like a business.

Questions

Before you start

Do I need to give card details to start?

Not to send your first quote — sign up with Google and that one is free, no card. To keep sending after that you add a card, which starts a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged for those 14 days, and you can cancel in a couple of clicks before the first payment.

Can my customer really accept a quote without creating an account?

Yes. They open your link, read the quote, type their name and tap Accept. It's recorded with a timestamp as your record of agreement — nothing for them to sign up for.

Is this only for electricians?

No — there are suggested rates built in for 22 trades, from plumbing and roofing to landscaping and kitchen fitting, plus an “Other” option for anything not listed.

What about VAT?

Standard, reduced, zero-rated or exempt — calculated per line, the way HMRC expects. If you're not VAT registered, Quotes4You simply never shows it.

Can I use it on my phone, on site?

Yes — it's built mobile-first, not shrunk down from a desktop screen. Large touch targets, numeric keyboards where you'd expect them, usable one-handed.

What happens to my quotes if I cancel?

They stay yours. Nothing is deleted when you cancel — you just can't send new quotes until you resubscribe.

Can I put my own logo and brand colour on quotes?

Yes — your business details, logo initials, brand colour and bank details appear on every quote and invoice you send.

How do customers pay invoices?

By card, with one tap on the invoice — the money goes through Stripe straight into your own bank account. Bank-transfer details appear on the invoice too, so customers can pay whichever way suits them.

Stop sending quotes that look like a text message.

Same work, same price — but a quote that looks like you’re worth hiring. First quote free, no card. Then £9.99 a month + VAT.
